Seeds - 7 Pot Lava

The 7 Pot Lava is an extremely hot Capsicum chinense variety developed by a grower named Judy from Tennessee. It is the result of a cross between the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion and the 7 Pot Primo, combining two well-known superhot genetics into a highly aggressive and productive variety. Pods are heavily wrinkled with a rough textured surface and typically ripen from green to deep red.

The variety is known for its strong fruity flavour profile, common to many Capsicum chinense types, followed by an immediate and extremely intense burn. Plants are vigorous and productive in warm growing conditions, producing medium to large superhot pods throughout the season. Commonly used for hot sauces, powders, fresh use, and superhot breeding projects. Best suited to experienced chilli growers due to the extreme heat level.

The name “7 Pot” references the Trinidadian saying that one pepper has enough heat to spice seven pots of stew.
