Description:
7 Pot BBG Purple is a superhot Capsicum chinense variety from the 7 Pot Bubblegum line, known for its unusual dark colouration and “bleeding calyx” trait. This black-to-red pheno produces pods that start deep purple to near black before ripening to red, often retaining dark tones around the shoulders and calyx. The pods are typically bumpy and wrinkled with strong 7 Pot-style heat and a fruity, superhot flavour.

Origin:
A 7 Pot Bubblegum-type selection. The original 7 Pot Bubblegum line is generally credited to UK grower John Harper, with later purple, black, and red phenotypes selected by growers from that line.
