Seeds - 7 Pot Primo Yellow

The 7 Pot Primo Yellow is an ultra-hot Capsicum chinense variety and a natural yellow mutation of the original Trinidad 7 Pot Primo developed in Louisiana by Troy Primeaux. This variety is recognised for its heavily wrinkled pods, aggressive elongated “stinger” tail, and extreme heat level combined with a sweet citrus-forward flavour profile.

Pods ripen from green to a vibrant yellow colour and typically deliver heat ranging from 800,000 to 1,500,000 Scoville Heat Units. The flavour is notably sweet, tropical, citrusy, and slightly floral before the intense lingering burn develops.

Due to its extreme heat, the 7 Pot Primo Yellow is best used sparingly and is highly sought after for homemade hot sauces, chilli powders, infused oils, and other superhot applications. Best suited to experienced chilli growers and chilli enthusiasts.
