Seeds - Bhut Jolokia Caramel

The Bhut Jolokia Caramel, also known as the Caramel Ghost Pepper, is a rare super-hot Capsicum chinense variety and natural colour variant of the traditional Indian Bhut Jolokia. Pods ripen from green to a striking caramel-brown colour measuring approximately 7–10 cm in length.

This variety delivers an intense lingering heat typically ranging between 800,000 and 1,300,000 Scoville Heat Units. The flavour profile combines the traditional earthy and slightly smoky Ghost Pepper taste with increased sweetness and fruity undertones, while lacking much of the bitterness sometimes found in other superhot varieties.

Due to its rich flavour and extreme heat, the Bhut Jolokia Caramel is highly sought after for small-batch hot sauces, chilli flakes, powders, curries, marinades, and other superhot applications where both flavour and heat are desired.
