Seeds - Bhut Jolokia White (White Ghost)

The Bhut Jolokia White, also known as the White Ghost Pepper, is a rare colour variant of the legendary Ghost Pepper originating from India. It produces heavily wrinkled ivory-white pods that mature from pale green to a creamy pearly white colour while retaining the extreme heat the Bhut Jolokia lineage is known for.

Like other Ghost Pepper varieties, the heat builds gradually before developing into a powerful lingering burn, commonly ranging from 800,000 to over 1,000,000 Scoville Heat Units. The flavour profile is fruity, earthy, slightly floral, and mildly bitter, giving the White Ghost a distinctive character among superhot chillies.

Pods are generally smaller and sometimes smoother than traditional red Bhut Jolokia varieties. Due to their intense heat and pale colouring, they are highly sought after for white hot sauces, powders, salsas, curries, and superhot products where colour preservation is desired.
