Seeds - Big Yellow Mamma

The Big Yellow Mamma is an extremely hot Capsicum chinense variety and the yellow variant of the infamous Big Black Mama developed by Troy Primeaux, creator of the 7 Pot Primo. It produces large heavily wrinkled pods with rough gnarled skin that ripen from green to a brilliant bright yellow colour.

This variety delivers an intense lingering heat typically ranging from 750,000 to 1,500,000 Scoville Heat Units. Despite the fierce burn, the flavour profile is notably fruity and citrus-forward, with tropical notes often compared to apricot, mango, and pineapple.

Pods are typically 5–6 cm long with thin walls and are highly valued for vibrant hot sauces, salsas, chilli powders, and other extreme chilli products where both flavour and heat are desired.
