Seeds - Carolina Reaper White

The White Reaper, also known as the Carolina Reaper White, is an extremely rare Capsicum chinense variety derived from Carolina Reaper genetics. It produces heavily wrinkled pods with aggressive scorpion-like stinger tails that ripen from pale green to creamy ivory-white tones.

Despite being slightly milder than some red Reaper phenotypes, the White Reaper still delivers a brutal lingering heat commonly ranging from 1,000,000+ Scoville Heat Units. The flavour profile begins with sweet fruity, melon-like, and slightly floral notes before the intense fiery heat rapidly develops.

Pods retain the classic rough twisted appearance associated with Carolina Reaper-type genetics while developing unique pale colouring highly sought after among chilli enthusiasts and sauce makers. Due to their light colour and strong flavour, White Reapers are especially popular for white hot sauces, salsas, powders, and extreme chilli products where colour preservation is desired.

The variety is also considered somewhat genetically unstable, meaning pod shape, tail formation, and colouring can occasionally vary between plants grown from seed.
