The Carolina Reaper x SRTSL (Sara R. Trinidad Scorpion Long) is an extremely hot and highly sought-after Capsicum chinense hybrid combining Carolina Reaper genetics with the aggressive long-tailed characteristics of the SRTSL lineage. Originally created by breeder Paul Willet and later refined by Giancarlo Fadda of Fadda’s Peppers, this variety is famous for its blistering heat and extraordinarily long stinger tails.

Pods are typically small, slender, heavily wrinkled, and highly distorted, with the defining feature being a pronounced tail that can exceed the length of the pod body itself. Heat levels are estimated to exceed 2,000,000 Scoville Heat Units, delivering an intense long-lasting burn among the hottest modern superhot varieties.

Despite the brutal heat, the flavour profile is notably sweet and floral, making the variety highly valued for extreme hot sauces, powders, mash, and premium superhot products.
