Seeds - Chocolate Apocalypse Scorpion

The Chocolate Apocalypse Scorpion is a rare ultra-hot Capsicum chinense variety developed in Italy and known for its brutal heat, dark chocolate colouring, and aggressive scorpion-like tail. It produces heavily wrinkled and dimpled pods that ripen from green to deep chocolate brown, often coated in visible capsaicin oils.

This variety commonly ranges between 1,200,000 and 1,600,000 Scoville Heat Units, placing it among the hottest chillies in the world and comparable to the Carolina Reaper. The flavour profile is deep, smoky, earthy, and intensely rich beneath the extreme lingering heat.

Pods are highly sought after for premium hot sauces, powders, chilli flakes, mash, and other superhot products where both flavour and extreme heat are desired. Due to its potency, it is generally used sparingly rather than eaten fresh.
