Jay’s White Ghost x Scorpion, also known as the White Knight Chilli, is a rare Capsicum chinense superhot hybrid created by crossing a White Ghost Pepper (Bhut Jolokia White) with Jay’s Peach Ghost Scorpion genetics. Originating from Jay Weaver’s famous superhot breeding lines, this variety is highly sought after for its pale colouring and intense lingering heat.

Pods ripen from pale green to creamy ivory-white and develop heavily wrinkled, gnarly skin with twisted distorted shapes typical of extreme superhot varieties. Heat levels commonly range between 700,000 and 1,100,000 Scoville Heat Units, delivering a savage delayed burn that rapidly builds and lingers intensely.

Despite the brutal heat, the flavour profile is sweet, fruity, citrus-forward, and floral with a clean classic chinense aroma and very little bitterness. Due to its pale colouring and strong flavour, Jay’s White Ghost x Scorpion is especially valued for white hot sauces, powders, mash, flakes, and other premium superhot chilli products where colour preservation is desired.
