Seeds - Aji Fantasy Peach

The Aji Fantasy Peach is a sought-after Capsicum baccatum variety developed as a peach-coloured variation of the original Finnish-bred Aji Fantasy. This variety produces attractive lantern-shaped pods that ripen from a translucent pale green colour to a soft pastel peach.

Pods have a thick-walled crunchy texture with an extremely fruity and sweet flavour profile featuring clean citrus notes often compared to apple or orange. Heat levels are considered mild to moderate, generally ranging between 5,000 and 10,000 Scoville Heat Units, with most of the heat concentrated around the centre of the pod while the outer flesh remains sweet and mild.

Due to its excellent flavour and manageable heat level, the Aji Fantasy Peach is highly popular for fresh salads, pickling, sauces, dehydrating, and making flavourful chilli powders.
